Η αναζήτηση επιζώντων συνεχίζεται αδιάκοπα στο δυτικό τμήμα της χώρας, όπου ο πιο φονικός σεισμός του αιώνα στην Κολομβία, μεγέθους 7,4 βαθμών, ισοπέδωσε ολόκληρα αστικά οικοδομικά τετράγωνα.
